I applaud the SOMETHING FROM NOTHING approach and the ingenuity of making that nothing look soooo good is what I'm viewing in your posts! The door knocker was brilliant, and the bed that you made from the tutorial is fabulous and the letter box; ingenious!!! Wow to it all! I'm you new fan. elizabethelizabeth shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09042037455600427075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709085200130688436.post-90623066230144078372012-11-05T16:00:01.844+00:002012-11-05T16:00:01.844+00:00Thanks Evelyne for your comments. I see what you mean about the side stones, Ill have to think about the colour.Alice - Wisteria Lodgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13000362242680066861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709085200130688436.post-63526297387225325062012-11-05T15:12:01.929+00:002012-11-05T15:12:01.929+00:00It's coming out great. I'll have to make one for another scene I'm working on, and I can't find ready made ones here. Like you, I'll have to use creativity, and I had already bought earring backs... Minds of a kind! ;)

Like Sandie, I would not repaint the door knock (for the same reason). But I might paint the side stones on the building a lighter color. I think it would bring them up. Just thinking.. :)Evelyne Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12483031625698626781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709085200130688436.post-2576136775605030902012-10-16T03:14:58.875+01:002012-10-16T03:14:58.875+01:00Thanks Sandie, it's lovely to know that someon...Thanks Sandie, it's lovely to know that someone has read my blog, and I thank you for all of your nice comments. I agree, using acrylic paint is much easier. You don't have the hassles with cleanup and it's easier to paint over it if you want to.
